Hope in the Dark
(Scottish Chamber Orchestra)
Commissioned by the SCO, my piece 'Hope in the Dark' featured the use of bicycle parts in the percussion section. The Scotsman wrote that it "...really stood out with its focused structure and confident writing...the stylish mix of blues and jazz with a nod to Scottish folk music in a beguiling violin solo was captivating."
